Many are I waiting for Jim Conforti to come out with software for the 4.4L V8. I have no personal knowledge, but I believe one reason this has not happened to date is that that V8 engine is already tweaked to near-max performance at the factory.
Actually, the reason I never produced (up to now) software for the various versions of the OBD2 V8 (96+) has specifically been that my master distributors told me there was "no market for it".
Our market has traditionally been 3 series and Motorsport junkies.
I recently stopped listening to my master distributors when I realized
that they don't know that they are talking about.
So I'm expanding into the V8's and also into other markets - including
a certain one w/ a prancing horse on the nose. Getting "factory
side-door" help on the latter as well.
