Mark,
that happend to me and I had a wire broke off in the alternator
also there was a ferrarichat discussion about alternators and the regulator
I also had a case where the idot light came on as the RPM went up because the belt wasn't tight enough

The alt idiot light is staying brightly lit on my '87 tr. The weird part is that voltages as measured at the battery appear normal (about 13.5v) under light or heavy load. I'm thinking failed regulator. Any thoughts??? _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/cdatte%40nosc.mil
