Headed to FoNE on Monday.  When they did the major service last fall 
they recommended a rebuild/upgrade to the alt that included increasing 
its capacity and replacing the oem plastic fan with a metal one.  (Btw, 
the original alt had been working fine). I believe they will stand 
behind their work.
