My research is showing that 575s are going around 100K (give or take, depending on condition). I have a "row your own" 12 cylinder, so if I go this route, I think it will need flappy paddles. I'm not sure of what the going price is for a 575, probably more than a couple of Duci's. Are you really interested in one with an F1 trans? For my picks, I'd go with a 575 with a row your own trans, or a Daytona coupe. If you want a car for track days, I'd have a look at a Porsche GT3. I know, I know, a porsche, but nice to know you can take it to the track, flog it all day, and all you'll have to do to get it back home at the end of the day, is add more gas. You can park it behind the hummer, out of sight, no one has to know you own one. shhhhhh. hee hee. Ed 911SC 2008/9/5 Steve Jenkins <steve [at] stevejenkins.com> Ed: I'd kill myself if I owned a Duc. I'm missing the part of my brain that says "don't do wheelies at 150" There's a 575 at Ferrari of Seattle. I am going to go check it out tomorrow. Ideas on what it's worth? http://www.ferrariofseattle.com/inventory/details.aspx?ID=173 SJ -----Original Message----- From: E M [mailto:pokiebaron [at] gmail.com] Sent: Friday, September 05, 2008 2:00 PM To: Steve Jenkins Cc: The FerrariList Subject: Re: [Ferrari] What Should I Buy [Ferrari Digest, Vol 26, Issue 5] Your garage sounds like it's getting pretty full Steve. This is when you start to think, I could get another car, or, I could use that same garage space and park 5 Ducati bikes in it. :-) Ed 911SC 2008/9/5 <BRIGANDBAR [at] aol.com> > Steve: > > While, of course, you don't have a Fire Engine like mine, so that is always > an alternative, but should you seek to avoid the curiosity-seekers that it > attracts I'd have to recommend that you find yourself an earlier model MB > G-wagen and do something new for a while, play on the trails.
