Leaving Jesus aside, nothing is more wrong-headed than insisting that health care is a "right". Rights are defined as those natural prerogatives, God-given if you will, which accrue to any man. Being bestowed by God, they cannot be constrained by government. We all know the litany - Freedom of Speech etc. But your freedom to speak does not imply my mandatory attention to your thesis. The rights of individuals are constrained by the equal rights of others. Your right to wave your arms to amplify the point you are making ends one inch from my nose. The plantation owner has no right to demand his cotton be picked unwillingly, and without just compensation, by others. How then does one individual, or group of individuals, have the right to demand others give up the hours of their lives unwillingly and without negotiation to provide them with health care? If your health care is a right, so then is picking my cotton. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/clyderomero%40worldnet.att.net Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
