I much preferred yesteryear when the formula was Wheelbase, Weight and Displacement... You got to see the 4 cylinder Climax motor and the BRM H16.
Now Charlie Whiting has such anal obsession with "moveable areodynamic devices" that he shoots down any
innovation before it comes to maturity. I'm sorry, Renault's "mass damper" should have been allowed and refined. I think it would have been a great innovation for road cars. Moveable wings, hell yes. Active suspension, Absolutely!! bring on the TECHNOLOGY.
