Hi Guys, I've just put programmable electronic ignition on my GT4. the advance is fully in my 3200rpm and the engine LOVES it. The thing that I find strange is that at idle, they've set it up at 12deg BTDC. I know usually it's 5deg or so, and the aussie spec pollution requirement is actually 1-2deg ATDC. So, that question really is, is there an optimal number and what, if any, is the upside/downside of 12degBTDC? Peter
