The people in the lobby had something in common with the employees behind
the glass: the government has removed both of their incentives to work their
hardest.

I remember leaving and saying "If I had employees that treated their
customers like that, my business would be failing."

Just did this in Conroe, TX.  My son lost his SS card and had to appear in
person for a replacement.  I don't know which was more depressing, the
people in the line or the people behind the counter!
