Quite true. I dated a flight attendant for a few years and the amount of training they get for this is way beyond what most people understand. Couple that with the crap they have to put up with from passengers who still think of them as air-waitresses and it makes it all the more impressive that they can do what this crew did. -- charles

If a Anesthesiologist making $ 300k screws up in the OR, the worst thing that can happen is one person dies. If a flight crew member screws up , hundreds of people could die. Who really deserves the $ 300,000 salaries more? Rich
