All stop! Whatever the merits of pilots and pizza drivers, the market  
will price jobs correctly. Consider the alternative! Do you want  
Rangel or Waxman pontificating on what your salary should be? Sadly,  
there appears to be a surfeit of capable Canadair 200 pilots around,  
meanwhile no one wants to stay up all night in the convenience store  
and risk getting their ass shot off.

If Hanna Montana can sell out a stadium at $50 - $100 a seat netting  
the promoter several million, then she is not out of line asking for a  
sizeable chunk of same. Paris HIlton made $7,000,000 a year ago by  
showing up at parties for $100,000 a pop and selling her sex tapes on  
the net. She is acting rationally, it is society that has it's values  
screwed up.

Before we start passing judgement on compensation we must first answer  
the eternal question: is that Ferrari really worth that much? If  
someone pays retail for it the question is answered.
