Ferrari - Where's the Passion?

Hey Phil: I think that there's more than a fair share of passion right here in
East Jesus, AR.?

Dos Hermanos Rodriquez? I saw Ricardo win the under 2 litre class at?the Times
GP at?Riverside in his brand new Porsche RSK in the late '50s, and both GTS
Doug and I chatted with his older brother in the pits at Laguna Seca after his
Can-Am Ferrari dropped out with he said, "the fuel pump, she chorted!"
?
If you or anyone out ther want to play a little F1 or Ferrari racing trivia,
either on or off line, I'm up to the challenge.

Trivia Question?1. When and where was Dan Gurney's F1 Eagle's first win in
Europe?

Any takers?? --? Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba

OK, break out the flame throwers, but, I am not quite certain that
owning a Ferrari today means the same thing to many of the owners as
it did even 5 to 10 years ago....
At one time it was a goal, a goal that few ever anticipated
accomplishing, the enthusiasts were consumed with owning a Ferrari now
I fear that many are only consumed with consuming and owning....how
many people (owners / enthusiasts ) know the serial number of their
car? How many can actually recite much of the history of the car or
know what the history of the drivers were who was Phil Hill or
Grahm Hill or the Rodriguez bros.....and don't even think about the
truly incredible men who raced these cars in the 40's and 50's.....or
   about Ferraris efforts at Indy........

   Where is the passion?
